Báiyì: The Last Oath of Yì

Long ago, before the rise of Bitzen or the terror of the Nexarchs, there lived a warrior-poet known only as Yì—renowned across the Jade Provinces for his wisdom, martial prowess, and unshakable honor. He served as guardian to emperors and protector of shrines, wielding a Naginata with unmatched grace. But honor can be a curse. Betrayed by a jealous warlord, Yì was accused of defying heaven's will. As punishment, he was cursed by a forgotten deity—his body twisted into that of a beast, half-horse, half-man, bearing a luminous curved horn that marked his shame. He vanished into the mountains, roaming centuries in silence, meditating on justice, wrath, and redemption. When the Nexarchs invaded and Bitzen surged across BTC1, the curse broke—not by mercy, but necessity. The energy did not restore his human form; instead, it elevated the beast. Báiyì rose anew—an armored guardian of light, his blue horn blazing with ancient power, his Naginata alive with Bitzen's hum. Now, he walks as protector once again. Not for emperors, but for a world at war.
